SNAP Restriction Waivers

Since April 2025, states have sought federal waivers to restrict what SNAP benefits can buy. This interactive map tracks all 23 approved waivers, the five a federal court suspended in June 2026, and the requests still pending at USDA. Every status traces to USDA's own approval letters, and the piece is current as of the date in its footer.
